We are just moving into Guernsey Avenue and having a 'mare of a job finding about ground rent as detailed in our legal covenant ... but the property is freehold. Does anyone pay a ground rent of £5 pa in addition to their management service charge?

Not worried about the £5 but about the horrendous back charges for non payment that seem to be reported on this site! Would be interested to hear experiences and if you do pay the £5 who does it go to as it doesn't seem to be RMG or Barratts!

Also any hints and tips for new residents would be useful.
